ABOUT

About us

Schloss Bäckerei is a pastry shop that specializes in German sweets. We have our own baked goods as well as “Niederegger” marzipan from Lübeck and chocolate from Hamburg, which we import directly from Germany.

Schloss Bäckerei is in alliance with Schloss-Hotel Kittendorf in the northern part of Germany.

Our Products

German cakes are not overly sweet, letting you enjoy the real taste of the ingredients, including the light cream, acidity of fruits, bitterness of the chocolate, and honey and spices. These go very well with various doughs made with yeast or nuts. We use carefully selected ingredients like quark, which is a German fresh cheese, lemons from the Seto Inland Sea, apples, etc. We hope you enjoy this marriage of Japanese and German tastes.
We also take special orders, such as for birthday cakes and egg-free or gluten-free cakes. Please feel free to contact us.
There is a small café space in the shop where you can enjoy sweets with soft drinks as well as espresso, cappuccino, and German beer and wine
